Meet Lori Adamek

Lori is our new and much needed "Girl Friday".  She is wonderful around our office and starts each day with big smiles for everyone.  As a Customer Service Representative, Lori will take your orders and answer your questions.  She will be Becky's office support as Becky becomes more involved with our packaging customers.  Lori also does a lot of data entry to keep our plant running smoothly.  We are very glad to have Lori here at Pasadena Skid and Pallet.

 P S & P's Heat Treatment Chamber

At Long Last -- We Finally Have Our Heat Treatment Chamber. 

We are very excited to be able to Heat Treat all our customer's pallets and dunnage to meet their exporting requirements.

We all watched as the first pallets went into our new Heat Chamber for the first load of "cooked pallets".  Everything worked perfectly and now we are in full operations and heat treating loads daily.

“Here Comes the Wood!”

We receive lumber for our manufacturing process from many suppliers and in many sizes, from large cants to small pre-cut lumber. 

“Now that’s a Jumbo Saw!”

This Pacific Trail Accu-Cut Packager Trimmer is a new addition to our plant.  It cuts full bundles of lumber or plywood in one easy pass thru with accurate cutting tolerances to +/- 1/32-inch.  This Crosscut Unit Saw has a fully automated touch screen control for one-employee production cutting.

“What is a 5 Head Saw?”

This Baker 5 Head Saw is a special saw that begins with the large cants, sends them down a conveyor belt, turns them when necessary and produces deck boards or pallet stringers as its finished product.

"Cut - Cut -Cut -- Stack - Stack - Stack!"

We also have many other saws that do specific jobs, such as a Baker 2-Head Saw, a Brewer Cut-off Saw, a Newman KM-16 Multi-trim Saw, various rip saws, beam saws, block cutters & notchers, etc.

“Automated Pallet Assembly?”

Yes!  

At Pasadena Skid & Pallet, we have the capacity to build 3500 pallets per day using our Viking 504 and Viking 505 automated pallet assembly systems.  These units are programmed using Pallet Design Software to assure exact pallet production.

“And Yes – We do Custom Hand Builds, too!”

The guys on our Hand Build Line specialize in building those small custom orders and those oversized pallets, skids, crates, boxes, braces or bulkheads to meet our customer’s specifications.

 Our four Pasadena Skid & Pallet trucks can often be seen making pallet deliveries all around the Greater Houston – Ship Channel Area.

At Pasadena Skid, we manufacture wood products for approximately 50 major customers.  We maintain and inventory stock for many of these accounts in order to meet Just-In-Time deliveries as required.
